We decided to eat at the Al Iwan restaurant at the Moevenpick as opposed to our hotel restaurant at the Petra Moon Hotel. We thought we would treat ourselves at a five star hotel restaurant whilst we stayed in budget accommodation. “superb location for exploring ancent petra”

a very hospitable hotel away from the seedy awful area of Wadi Musa.,. the room I stayed at was a complimentary upgrade to executive with balcony, free bar and wi fi.. virtually 5 minutes from the gate of Petra it was the perfect location. “Next to Petra”

Very good choice if you want to see Petra. Hotel situated just a few steps away from the "entrance" to the ancient city. Good food, exelent roof bar/restaurant. Great ice-cream appreciated in that climate.

“Steps to Petra, beautiful lobby and amazing breakfast”

Clean, attractive hotel. Not too big (the Movenpick Dead Sea was much too large for my taste). Steps away from Petra. Beautiful common areas with a wonderful breakfast spread. Room was clean and acceptable, but nothing noteworthy about it. Probably the best place to stay in Petra.

“Lovely place to stay”

This Hotel is right at the entrance to the Petra experience. It is a really lovely hotel and has many Arabic features. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was an extravaganza. We were able to buy lunch boxes to take with us in Petra, they were very reasonably priced.
