I stayed at the Edom Hotel for two nights. The hotel is basic with large rooms, very comfortable beds and old but perfectly functioning bathrooms. The showers were the most powerful that we found in Jordan and perfect after a long day in Petra. The bathrooms are clean however the shower curtains are moldy and shower rail rusty. This is... More

So our last two nights me and my fellow trekkers spent a very comfortable nights sleep in much needed beds after trekking across the Jordan desert from The Dead Sea to Petra and believe me these beds were so comfortable especially after sleeping on a foam matress on the desert floor for the past 5 nights. Staff were very friendly... More

We stayed at the Edom Hotel for 2 nights after an amazing 5 day trek through the desert, staying in bedoin tents. The welcome bed, pillow & duvet was a luxury. The room was of an adequate size. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage. After reading previous reviews, I was concerned about arriving at the hotel at 6.45pm... More

Very basic but clean hotel only minutes to the main entrance of Petra. Most importantly really good hot showers which after trekking from the Dead Sea over five & a half days last week for the "Britain V Cancer, Jordan Desert Trek." Really comfortable clean beds too.Great base to explore Petra.

Right next to the Movenpick on the road to the Visitors Center, so conveniently located for easy access. Check-in was quick and efficient. Room is really average, Tv didnt work amd had to walk down as there were no directions on how to phone reception from the room, quick turn-around from housekeeping to come and help out. Nodo-not disturb signs... More

We chose this hotel basically because of its location, a very easy walk to the Petra gates. The rooms are basic but clean, we didn't find the staff as friendly as other reviewers (in fact the guy who checked us in was pretty surly). The breakfast is terrible, there is no wifi or safe in the rooms (although there is... More

Stayed for 1 night with KE Adventures, after completing a week-long trek to Petra. The building is modern and looks new, the lobby and rooms were clean, it is not a luxury hotel but better than average adventure travellers' hotel. The shower was a bit temperamental but there was plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and accomodating;... More

We stayed here with G Adventures. The location is first class, the Petra site entrance is just across the road. The staff were very welcoming, the hotel was clean, the rooms were quite acceptable, plenty of hot water, which can be a problem in some hotels in Jordan. We found the breakfast excellent, in a bright airy room, lots of... More

The only good thing about this hotel is its location... Everything else sucks... The bathrooms lock up on their own, the basin leaks, the breakfast is bare, Internet only in the lobby and painfully slow... And the guy at the desk offers you tours which are completely not worth it... It's only upon tons of enquiring that you figure that... More
