If you need a place to crash before hitting Petra at the crack of dawn... then this place is kinda okay (for £50)... as it is a stone's throw from the gate... although I would not go back. Our room was not clean... the beds are uncomfortable, I would not walk on the carpet barefoot, there was blood stain (i... More

As other reviewers have stated, this Hotel is in a great location. I stayed here as part of a tour group; if I had been booking a Petra hotel myself then I may have looked elsewhere. However, although its pretty dated, our room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was ok. In fact, we spent very little time in our... More

We went to Wadi Musa, as do most I suspect, to see the phenomenal ruins of Petra and there are almost no hotels that have a better location from which to do so than Petra Palace. In a way, that is both its selling point and its downfall, as this hotel has the impression of wallowing in the success that... More

We stayed in room 347 which has twin beds and patio doors out on to the patio/pool area on the 3rd floor. The good: the location is brilliant, just a few minutes walk from the Petra Park gates and on the same streeat as other hotels/restaurant/bars. I thought the beds and pillows were comfortable. Water pressure and temperature was good.... More

I booked a quick trip around Jordan through a travel company in Jordan. I am usually pretty careful in what I book, but I was way too busy to check out the hotels and now I'm regretting it. This hotel is below a 3*. The lobby isn't bad and is a bit deceiving. It is clean and open. The room... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights while was on Tour of Jordan. This hotel is located very close to Petra itself. Clean hotel with good and helpful hotel staff. We were located on the 4th floor. Clean room with double bed and extra sofa like chair. And an empty working fridge was available in the room. The room was... More

Me & my wife had stayed at this hotel during W4 Apr '13 & stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is situated barely half-a-kilometre from the Petra site & quite centrally also. The hotel looked fairly old given their system of room keys! We had a king size bed room on the 5th floor. The room was very big and... More

We recently visited Petra and stayed in Petra Palace for 2 nights. The front office staff was unable to find our reservations (booked though one of the popular hotel booking sites) and finally booked us a “walk in” customer. This was quite big hotel – room was large, decent and bathroom was clean. No internet facilities in the rooms and... More

We checked in and out within an hour (still required to pay). After being guided over dark and sheer endless hallways we reached a small, run down room, stains on the walls, doors and lamps, and a bad smell (cold smoke). The bathroom did not look inviting either, run down as well, and there was only one small towel with... More

I loved this hotel--great location, service, breakfast, price. They have a nice bar, too, which is not easy to find in Wadi Musa. There are two pools and a "lounge" with free WiFi. When needs are communicated to the desk, they are fixed almost immediately. The restaurant staff is also extremely responsive. One morning the manager personally brought us hot... More
