Wow!! This is a wonderful place. The location, the views!! Wonderful hiking. Beautiful butterflies everywhere. Our room was spacious, pristine and nicely decorated. We loved the photography that surrounded the lodge and rooms. This decorator was spot-on from the carpet, room colors, and great Old Hickory furniture... a classy surprise. The gift store was very fairly priced. A gym, indoor... More

This is a must see for anyone who loves nature. The rooms were wonderfulk but the views amake it fantastic. There are 14miles of walking trails that should'nt be missed. Don't miss the Bell something trail there are surpizes on each turn. We ate at the restaurant 3times and enjoyed it....no gourmet just home cooking. We used the hot tub... More

Stunning location on the highest point in AR. Large well-appointed rooms with balconies overlooking the valley. Many hiking options for various skill levels. Given the location we did have one morning completely fogged in. There is no room service offered, but you can do carry-out from the on-site restaurant. Breakfast at said Skycrest was excellent, however teh eveing meal was... More

The room was terrific! We loved everything about this place except the food. All of us were disappointed in our dinner at the restaurant. My parents are already planning to go back for their anniversary. But they are trying to figure out where they will eat while they are there. Perhaps we just hit the restaurant on a bad night.... We stopped here when driving back to Oklahoma from Hot Springs. The mountain drive was beautiful leading up to the Lodge. When we arrived it was a wonderful surprise. The huge beautiful rustic lodge atop the mountain was spectacular. We checked in with no problem, our room was on the 2nd floor. The room was wonderful, clean and comfy. We... More

Stayed at the lodge the night prior to my brother's wedding, and what a treat. Beautiful views from every room, but I would ask for a 2nd or 3rd floor room if you are on the west side of the indoor pool, for a better view of sunrise. Bed was ridiculously comfortable. Jacuzzi in the room, combined with the breeze... More

We've been to the Lodge at Mount Magazine several times in recent years, and we always find it a great place to unwind. The facility is top notch and always in great condition. This time, we arrived while the mountain was banked in a cloud, literally, so that was an interesting experience, with visibility down to about 20 feet. It... More

We stayed in Cabin 6. Felt completely private. Dramatic views of Petit Jean River Valley from back porch (which included hot tub). Built in 2006 and well maintained, the Cabin was sparkling clean, had two large bedrooms, each with its own bath, a full kitchen which was nicely stocked, and a working fireplace. We paid $375/night (March is part of... More

We stayed in a cabin on Mount Magazine last fall for one night, but came back in February for a longer stay because we enjoyed it so much. The cabin was perfect. The French doors in our bedroom looked out on a beautiful view every morning. There were deer running past and sleeping near our cabin. We loved the hot... More
