This hotel is an oasis in a city that is not terribly attractive. It oozes charm. The decor is fun, the garden beautiful, the food is great, the staff are friendly and the manager is gracious. I love the small tiled pool and they have off street parking. Internet a good air conditioning are a must for me and it... More

We stopped in Tapachula after a last minute change in our travel plans and did not expect this place to be so good. The restaurant was a very nice surprice : food and drinks (great margarita) were delicious. Manuel is dedicated to his hotel and does not only manage and cook : he is also a fantastic gardener and made... More

We just came back from an amazing vacation in Tapachula, we stayed at Boutique Casa Mexicana, and we had a great experience, all of the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the owner very professional, they'll make you feel like home. Food is so delicious, rooms are beautiful and you're just a few steps away from downtown. I highly... More

This was my second stay at Casa Mexicana. I organized a trip for five colleagues of mine, who came from outside Mexico. We stayed at Casa Mexicana 4 nights/5 days and we regretted not having planned for an extra day in Tapachula to enjoy a final relaxing night at Casa Mexicana. After each day of meetings in and around town,... More

This is a most wonderful little gem of a hotel full of treasures, the main one being the owner Manuel Zepeda. The food in the beautiful little garden restaurant was fantastic. All about you are little treasures of folk art that can be purchased. John and barbara Australia

We recently rented 2 rooms for business trip to Tapachula. Extraordinarly attentive staff and service. Excellent restaurant. Fine bar and accomodations - and very fair prices. Close to center of town. Cable TV, nice small pool and great Reception staff. Owner/Manager's personal attention to detail is on par with Ritz-Carlton and best NYC boutique hotels,

I had the pleasure of finding this gem in Tapachula and it was lovely! The decor is fabulous and the food in the restaurant was the best I had in the city during my 8 day stay. Plus the owner is a great host, full of information and enthusiasm Each room is decorated impeccably and the service is top-notch.

For 40 years we’ve been passing through Tapachula on our way to or from Central America. Sometimes we would only be in Tapachula for a few hours. Other times we might have to spend the night, but that was it. Until now… On the most recent trip from San Salvador to Huatulco, we were looking at a three-hour layover on... More

I stayed in Casa Mexicana for a few times in Tapachula. It's the best hotel, considering its service, food and atmosphere are all outstanding. It's not cheap in comparison with other hotels in Tapi. However, you will feel rewarding to stay for one night or two especially if you travel far away from Guatemala, Oaxaca or Mexico City...The decorations in... More
