One of THE most spectacular settings you can wish for, overlooking the remote Baliem Valley. The location is superb, but terrible to get to! We just returned from a trip to Papua and had a wonderful time. The people were very sweet. The Baliem Valley Resort is in a beautiful setting -- however it is very isolated and since it had rained while we were there the road was very difficult to get up and down.
