I took 2 rooms at this hotel as it was billed to be one of the best hotels in Ajmer. What a total disappointment. Looks wise, the hotel was fine. It was really very bad experience ... Service was really very pathetic ... I mean owner should understand to maintain the hotel ... 2 star hotel is better in service and quality... its a nice property. caters to all budgets. most of the rooms are rather big, however a few are real cramp. bathrooms are huge everywhere. staff are nice and cooperative. our service was delayed a bit, but other than that the stay was pleasant. location is excellent. very quiet and peaceful atmosphere in the hustle and bustle of city.

merwara estate is a nice property on a hillock .. rooms are rather big and done up in old style .. toilets too are huge .. the old wing is a better place to put up ... it overlooks the anna sagar lake ... food is ok ... they have a swimming pool which is rather small but cozy ...... More

firstly the kings are done...and the kingdom went to the Govt....So Merwara which probably belonged to some king/prince should know that...the opulence is allover...the woodwork is royal...the curtains are regal...but the service is pathetic! the only help one would get is at the reception run by 2 ladies...post that its a downer!...the hotel has just one restaurant and food service...
