Set in the middle of a coffee plantation overlooking a valley. From the minute we arrived( late at night), we were warmly welcomed and even dinner service was finished, we were offered a meal from the kitchen and drinks. It seemed that nothing was ever too much for the satt at this hotel. The hotel itself looks as if it has... More

Don't just breeze through this area. If you can stay more than 2 nights here and pace yourself to enjoy this breathtaking location. The Manor rests on a coffee plantation and is outside of the crater itself. A tranquil setting and wonderful accommodations to return to after a day of safari. The staff provides you with sterling service with all... More

We have just returned home from an amzing safari holiday to Tanzania, we arrived at The Manor after a long, tiring journey from Kilimanjaro airport. We flew overnight, unfortunately our luggage didn' t! We got that 2 days later. En route our guide took us to 'Woolworths' in Arusha for some emergency clothes/toileteries. We received a lovely welcome at The... More

Luxury, peace, attention to detail, food excellence - a real haven. The Manor is adjacent to the conservation area, but to enter the crater is about a 1 hour drive, thankfully, this is mostly on surfaced roads. Because of its altitude there are no mosquitos or tsetse flies. It also means that it is a number of degrees cooler than... More

I felt like a queen while I was there. My husband and I were waited on hand and foot. The room and bath were lovely and filled with fresh flowers daily. A warm bubble bath complete with rose petals awaited me at the end of every day trip. Ahhhh! They arranged for an elegant 'picnic' outside on the phenomenally beautiful... More

Second part of SkySafari by Elewana. Arriving at Lake Manyara airstrip around 3 pm. Took us 2 hours to get to the Manor at Ngorongoro. The road from the turnoff to the manor was very bad. That's quite normal for road conditions in rural Africa. The driver, Lorry was good at his job. Upon arrival, we had canapés, cheeses and... More

We stayed here two nightsas we travelled from Tarengire to Lake Manyara to the Ngorongoro Crater to the Serengetti. It was an amazing respite from a very busy travel schedule. Rodgers and his team are so freindly and accomodating! The grounds are amazing and lush. As far as i could tell the rooms are all "suites" - that is they... More

Stayed one night between our drive from Serengeti to Lake Manyara. This place ranks as one of the best places we have stayed anywhere. Suites are large. Staff is efficient, helpful, and friendly. Food is excellent. Grounds are just perfect.

Going to this place is quite a feat. The roads were so bumpy and very uncomfortable. However upon reaching the place, its just wonderful. Their hamburger sandwich is simply unforgettable....... the place has an aura of the 6 star resorts giving the guests a memorable experience. Bravo!
