I recently stayed at the hotel during a short work trip to Kisumu. The rooms are very clean and beautifully done, the atmosphere is serene. The WIFI works and is free. The meals are excellent. Perfectly located within the heart of the town. The gym facilities could use a revamp though.

This is a great place to stay if you are on a business trip as it's centrally located. The airport shuttle is reliable and rooms are comfortable and quiet.
