Bungalows are very comfortable, and the location is gorgeous. Kids are well amused by (free) kayaks and snorkelling. Service was uneven and food quality varied: one night very average, the next good. A little knowledge of French is an advantage if you want to communicate effectively.

Can't wait to go back. Wonderful snorkeling and swimming right off the hotel's beach. We also saw humpback whales in front of the hotel, just beyond the breakwater.
The location is quiet and serene.
Absolutely amazing snorkeling off Pede Beach, which is nearby. Fabulous swimming at Yedjele Beach, which is also close.

Nengone Village is one of the worlds hidden treasures, providing outstanding, lagoon side rooms in a quiet location providing manifold opportunities for lazy days or quiet walks through ocean front bushland to isloated bays or to neighbouring villages.
The staff went out of their way to add finesse to journeys around the island and to encourage engagement with local culture.
