Very convenient location, just a few minutes away from the main plaza. Excellent, comfortable, large room with good-size bathroom and plenty of storage space. Good swimming pool. Decent breakfast.

It was over a year since my last visit, and I found the Asturias was keeping up with the growth of Cafayate. The pool had been renovated, and a small children's pool added. There was no more invasions from locals kids, the municipal pool was open. the grass and flowerbeds were beautiful. New rooms have been put in upstairs that are...

We stayed for 5 days in the hotel in a large room with nice wooden floors, Also a nice large bed and a large beedroom.
Breakfast was OK and the hotel is located very close to the plaza.
Unfortunately the staff did not seem very friendly and the nice garden with pool had a dog running around, which means that...

We stayed here end of december, and the tourist agency Say Hueque booked it for us, so I cannot say anything about the price, but the hotel was looking tired, the room was big,and the bed too. The refrigerator was so noisy we had to unplug it during the night. the windows facing a circulated street do not manage any...

This hotel is very central. Across the street is a nice little restaurant that has music, dirt floor and great parilladas!
You are a few steps away from the plaza which is big and great for strolls or eating. There are lots of restaurants and the Nani Bodega is just around the corner.
Our room didn't have A/C but had...

We arrived in Cafayate without a reservation and got a room in the Hotel Asturias.
The hotel is in a great location about 50m from the main square. We were looking for a fairly cheap room as we were only in town for one night. They didn't have any standard rooms available so we were offered a superior room (which...

We were first given a standard room but the balcony doors didn't open. It took 3 visits to reception and a threat to leave before they gave us another room, a free upgrade to a superior room. If you're going to stay here, it's worth paying extra for the superior room although aircon noise (from another room) spoilt our sleep....

I had been staying at a budget place in Cafayate, and the heat was making me uncomfortable. Walked across the square to check out the Asturias. Light filled rooms, large bathrooms, AC in superior rooms, a pool surrounded with grass, trees and flowers. Yes! I checked in and headed to the pool. strangely it was occupied by a party of...

Nice hotel, not really anything major to complain about. We showed up without a reservation and got a room right away. Anyone who has driven from Cachi to Cafayate in 35 degrees heat knows that you will want a hotel room quickly. The rooms are ok, nothing fancy but clean. Breakfast needs some improvement.

We opted for Hotel Asturias, because it had good reviews, it always responded quickly on emails and - also important for us - was rather affordable, at least comparing with some other hotels in Cafayate.
The staff at the reception desk was correct, but of course more business-like than in smaller accommodations. Sometimes we had problems communicating, because we didn’t...
