Gosh, how different things can be. 6 of us - 5 over 60 and 1 under 30 stayed here for 2 nights. Firstly the restaurant was great, prawn kebabs, zebu and sauteed veges and superb flambee pancakes, very friendly staff. The rooms - 2 bungalos and one room were all okay. Stayed at the Hotel Manja two nights. They have two types of rooms, free standing Bungalows and concrete strip rooms arranged in two stories. We didin't stay in the bungalows, but they looked very basic. Greeted in room "A "by a large cockroach which we sprayed with DEET and sent out the door packing only to have it return again... More
