We had a memorable two night stay at Sango. The game viewing by 4WD or mokoro was great as was the food. Our guide, "Beast" was fantastic and taught us so much about the game and tracking them. Perhaps our most lasting impression though will be of the lovely, kind and friendly people who made our stay so enjoyable. Michael... More

Sango safari camp really was the highlight of our trip! We were able to come into close proximity of the animals and we really experienced the wilderness with the night safari. We saw more here than we did anywhere else in Botswana! The staff were so kind and the guides knew so much about the creatures, also food was incredible.... More

We had heard so much about Face (the guide) from tripadvisor, so we were a little disappointed to hear that he was on vacation during our stay. Joel served as our guide and was very attentive and really put in the effort. There were a few slip ups (for example the first day he arranged for a mokoro ride for... More

Such a wonderful place to stay, and would recommend anyone who is thinking of staying in Moremi to stop over for at least 2 or 3 nights. The staff are all so friendly and really make you feel as though you are the most important guests in the world. The food is excellent as are the rooms and the game... More

We really wish the Sango team all the best! You have created a model for a sustainable safari lodge, so well integrated in the surrounding pristine nature and into the local comunity. We stayed 3 nights with our twin boys of 12 years at the end of February. Our family all enjoyed the great harmoni at Sango, and our boys were... More

We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon in November 2012. The staff were absolutely superb! We wished we had stayed here longer. The tented accommodation was well appointed and spotlessly clean, but there is limited ventilation depending on the weather and it can get very warm in the rooms without a breeze. The food was also great with... More

Wow, what a place!!! Sango should be the blueprint for all Safari camps. Set in pristine wilderness just outside the Okavango Delta, it has that raw wild feeling that is the essential ingredient for the authentic African experience (and too often missing). If you like the idea of a mobile safari but want some home comforts put Sango at the... More

We loved this place! Judge and his team of staff have created a wonderful safari experience. It begins with a welcome: all the staff waiting to greet all newcomers with song and dance. The atmosphere is happy and relaxed; guests and staff share meals together and share the days experiences. The guides were extremely knowledgeable attentive. Our guide, Joel, was... More

Sango is a small, intimate lodge superbly run by a family from the nearby villlage, Khwai. We were welcomed by our guide and the manager, Face, who informed us we'd be having lunch with the elephants at 12:30! Sure enough, the elephants arrived on schedule! The tents are comfortable and well supplied. Face is a superb guide, very well informed... More
