Traveling through Botswana can be tough and there are not many towns or places to stop along the long highway. Nata is a small town halfway between Kasane and Francistown. In Nata you can go to the Salt Pans and extra advantage is that there is a very nice accommodation close to it. The Nata Lodge is a luxurious lodge... More

We were embarking on a holiday of a lifetime and driving through Botswana to get to Zimbabwe. We had booked only one night at Nata lodge. It is a most welcoming place just off the main road. We were in one of the chalets. They are equiped with all anyone may want even air conditioning and insect repelant but appear... More

This hotel was for us the perfect stop between South Africa and Maun. It is a very nice lodge. The room we stayed in was in a little chalet with all comfort and a lovely outside shower. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the green nature and hearing the cowbells is very charming and relaxing. The Pool was nice and warm... More

Nata Lodge offers chalets as well as areas for campers. We chose camping so I can't comment on the chalets. The lodge has a big pool with bar facilities and this was a very welcome respite after the hours of driving. Beware of snakes when camping- they are really there! From Nata you can take a trip to see the... More

Nata really should be a destination in its own right not just a stop over between Joberg and Chobe. The accommodation is first rate with newly built, spacious and air-conditioned chalets at a very reasonable rate. The food is good but fairly basic. The staff are warm and friendly and the pool make a welcome break from the midday heat.... More

We stayed in a luxury tent in Nata Lodge, which has a private outside shower. Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of mosquito's and temps can get very high, especially in the tent. I would recommend staying in one of the chalets. Not sure if they have airco but they are bound to be cooler than the tents. The pool... More

A welcome stopover to break the long trip from Johannesburg to Maun in December. My husband & I booked a spacious, airy room while our two children and their respective girlfriend and boyfriend camped in the camp sites on the one side of the lodge! The chalets are clean and very well maintained with an outside shower, mozzie nets and... More

December 24-26 The rooms are very spacious and refreshing especially on a hot day. if you are looking for an African feel this is the place. For me being an African who stays in Africa i was looking for something more plush and warmer and cosy, so i wished i had booked just 1 night and gone for a hotel... More

Nata Lodge is an oasis of calm and quiet and our tent - 2 single beds and a mattress on the floor for our daughter - was roomy, comfortable, very clean and had a great outdoor shower with hot water. The pool was beautiful and very clean and great on a warm afternoon before dinner. The staff were friendly and... More

Pleasant, well appointed rooms make this a comfortable experience. Rooms and grounds are clean and well kept. The outdoor (but private) shower is a nice "African" touch. Dining is quite nice with an excellent breakfast buffet. Mosquito nets are provided and should be used but do watch out for other bugs, especially LARGE spiders. More
