I came here in October 2011 for business travel so I can't really talk about the value, since I didn't pay for it. The hotel is a relatively new construct in the nice neighbourhood of Altamira. I can't for the life of me figure out what other reviewers like about this hotel. If it were HOTEL EVERYMAN, then I would say it's about average. We enjoyed our stay very much at the VIP Caracas. The staff was very helpful and always willing to help us out. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The VIP hotel is nice and "trendy". Close to our offices at Centro San Ignacio, with several restaurants close by and within walking distance in a safe neighborhood. The VIP is a new refreshing new offering in Caracas - a city that lacks hotels of good quality.
