This hotel is in a fantastic location. You can walk to anywhere in town and to the shore in a matter of minutes. We stayed here because of the reviews, and we were not disappointed. It reminded us of our time in Tahiti. This family run hotel has only 6 rooms, but perfect for our short time on Easter Island.... More

As a first time visitor to Easter Island I was guided by Tripadvisor as to the best place to stay. No 2 to the Explora is not a bad place to pick! The accommodation was good value and well located. Marcelo (owner) was very friendly and gave good advice about what to do on the island. I particularly appreciated the... More

This family run Inn Hotel is a great place to stay on Rapa Nui. The owner Marcelo welcomes you at the airport and does a brief tour around the village before driving to the hotel. This later makes walking around very easy. The cozy place itself with just 6 rooms seems to be a typical Rapa Nui style lodging. The... More

Really nice play to stay - all the rooms are giving in a central atrium with sofas, tables and chairs - the roof is supported by pillars covered by amazing polynesian carvings, which gives a special feel to the place. The room we had was quite big and although simply furnished was really comfortable - the mattress was nice and... More

The room was simple and comfortable. The small refrigerator was useful and there was a good supply of hot water. We saw a few roaches the first night, but I killed them and left a body as a warning to the others. We didn't see any more for the other 5 nights. :) Hey, it's a tropical place...I understand. One... I can summmarize al the things that make Kaimana Inn such a great place to stay, such as the great ever changing breakfast, the nice owners, who are always more than helpful , the very clean rooms (if you lay down on the bed, you smell that they washed the linen) and the good quality of the matrasses. In the... More

I loved the layout. 6 rooms with sliding glass doors that you could open and sort of be indoors and outdoors at the same time. The breakfast/communal area was steps away from your room. Marcelo picked us up at the airport at 7am and brought us to the Inn. He showed us a map of the island and gave us... More

The lodging is situated in the backyard of the house of the owner, consisting of six rooms with bathrooms around a small atrium furnished with tables, chairs and sofas. Although the rooms and bathrooms are very basic, the sleep quality was good as well as the breakfast made by the owners mother in law. The Chile – born owner himself... More

Kaimana Inn is definitely a good choice for a stay on the beautiful island of Rapa Nui. Marcelo and lovely wife picked us up at the airport and showed the island. We were able to quickly absorb the layout of the island which came in handy. Our five night stay was memorable. We truly enjoyed the full day tour of... More

I can't say enough about how wonderful Marcelo, his family and staff, and the accommodations of Kaimana Inn were. Marcelo picked me up at the airport at 7am (on the flight from Lima), and immediately made me feel welcome. Although it was 7am, he got us tea / coffee, and sat down with maps explaining the island. I was relatively... More
