This place should be condemned. Didn't even use the shower because it was gross. provided small bath towels. no hand towels or facecloths. TV connection didn't work. this is a bare, bare minimum hotel. Outside is overtired and needs work. limited parking room. was rated by booking.com as a 2 star - nope. the only thing going for it was the location and the staff. I would not stay here ever again. the hotel room for one night during the week was over $200 including taxes - NOT worth it!

Pretty much what I expected from reading the reviews, I had to check-in by phoning the hotel (in the rain). I was frustrated trying to open the lockbox in a storm. Beds are uncomfortable. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, A/C didn’t really work and was only in one of the rooms. It is a great location, quick walk to the beach, LCBO, shops etc. My daughter enjoyed the Netflix in the room. I found it odd there was no garbage can, not in the bathrooms or bedrooms. We had to find our own. Also no glasses for water. I recommend bringing your own water anyway, the tap water wasn’t great. It wasn’t the best but not the worst motel I’ve stayed in. I would stay somewhere else next time I visit Wasaga but we still had a good experience nonetheless.

Terrible Management! no one on staff after 4:00 PM had to help latecomers get their rooms, refuses to respond to phone calls and texts, had a horrible experience here - do not stay here! I will be pursuing my issue with this dump regardless whether I get my money back or not. Very unprofessional Management. Knowing a H2Oi Car Rally was coming that weekend, and riots broke out - still no one on staff! awful motel - will never go back - DONT GO!!!

This is an honest low cost motel in a great location. It's only a few yards to the beach as well as essential stores eg Beer Store and LCBO. The rooms are basic but adequate, with comfortable beds and amenities. We had room 6 which is actually two bedrooms and three double beds. The window a/c unit kept us comfortable and heaters are provided. The fridge, microwave, and tv worked well. Several barbecues are provided for communal use. LPG is included, so no need for charcoal. Picnic tables and some outdoor chairs dot the veranda where it becomes quite convivial as guests enjoy the evening. This is a motel run by friendly and helpful people. Some guests may become rather boisterous and loud, so is probably more attractive to outgoing sociable people, rather like a campsite.

Incredibly unprofessional and unreliable. Booked a room months in advance as I had to come to town for a wedding. less than two weeks before my trip, I receive a cancellation out of the blue. When I called in hopes it was a computer error and to let them know i still very much needed the reservation - I was given a variety of sketchy excuses as to why they cancelled - first, the room was "taken off line"; then something vague about "construction", then, as I was clearly not impressed, something about "a tree". No apologies, no concern at all offered for the difficult position they had now put me in - instead I was asked "well, what would you have me do?" Seriously???? best he could offer was that i should get back online and find someplace else. Of course everything now was booked and twice the price. Coincidentally (NOT!) - the next day they had availability for a two day stay. They clearly cancelled my one night reservation in order to gain a two night at a higher price. Exceptionally unprofessional, and rude in the process. Don't risk your trip with a provider who doesn't honour their commitments.

AWFUL…Very bad experience. Our room was not clean, our door did not even shut, the rickety bed was covered black long hair, the floors were very uneven and we were welcomed by a swarm of 800 flies once we got our door open. The shower/bathroom was very very gross. I would never even think of using it. For being “newly renovated” it is far from being clean and welcoming and I would not want to know what it looked like before renovations. We booked our stay for 2 nights and had to leave after 5 minutes of being there knowing we could NOT seep here. When we arrived to check in and there was no parking unless we paid to park across the street. We were told to park on the side of the road on the grass in front of the building. We were very rudely told to come back later because of room wasn’t ready, this was the first red flag. For the price we paid, this is a complete scam. After seeing this place I would not pay over $20 to stay here. For charging so much to stay here, they should use their money to build a new place.

do NOT stay there! We arrived in the tiny, dirty room (that was supposed to just have been cleaned) and when we sat down on the squeaky bed, after removing a few hairs from the pillow cases, a BAT started flying around in the room in the middle of the afternoon (I guess it was hiding under the bed?). We jumped on the floor and chased it out the door with our towels and then gave the keys back to the front desk asking for a reimbursement. The girl at the front desk tried calling her manager (Aaron) who wasn't answering his phone so she gave us his number and told us to call him later to get a refund. When we reached him he said "refunds were not his policy" and that we could "get attacked by a seagull on the beach as well" so a bat on our room was really not his problem. We still rented another hotel room for that night and are still trying to get the $200 we spent on that s***hole back.

WIFI and Netflix was advertised, the internet was spotty, not available on our phones and unless you have an account with Netflix you cannot sign in. There is no cable TV. There were no hooks to hang wet towels in the washroom or anywhere else. There were no shelves to put bags etc. on. The washroom floor was wet after a shower, it was so bad that the water seeped into the room. We had to leave the using open at night because they were too long and covered the window air conditioner. The washroom did not have an electrical outlook.to.plug in my blowdryer. I could see that they are renovating, the walls seemed freely painted and the floor was new.it was difficult to maneuver my car in the parking lot, parking is very tight. The ladies working at the motel were nice and friendly. The motel is a 2 mi ute walk to the beach wich for us was a bonus.

From check in to check out everything was smooth and enjoyable. Julie was an absolute gem and was able to accomodate us when we arrived at 11am, looking to park for the day and come back to check in. She was so sweet and not only accommodated our request to park but actually let us check in early. The rooms are basic but we're clean and have everything you need for a beach getaway! Mini fridge, TV with Netflix, A/C, a toilet, sink and shower along with plenty of hooks to hang out wet clothing. There were chairs, picnic tables and BBQ outside for your use as well. You must keep in mind that most of these motels have been around a long time, so don't come to Wasaga and expect Hilton hotel accommodations for motel prices. The service, price and fact that it is literally a 2 minute walk from the beach make it one of the best places to stay in Wasaga! LCBO, Beer store, shops and food are also a 2 minute walk away. I would definitely stay again. Thank you again Julie for your wonderful hospitality, you truly made our stay enjoyable!
