We went to cottage country to do some skiing with the family. Upon arival the price was higher than we expected. We were told the price quoted was for double occupancy but we had four adults. It was $15 per person per night more. Who rents a cottage that sleeps 6, for 2 people. I can understand more money if... More

Dirty and decrepit. Dead bugs everywhere. Light fixtures full of them and filthy. Watch out for cobwebs! Mold growing everywhere. Stinks! Water smells like rotten eggs! Mold inside the coffee maker! Dead bugs everywhere. Slept with clothes and shoes on for fear of catching something with the lack of cleanliness. Smoke detectors beeped constantly from the batteries dying out. Barbeque... More

We rented a 2 bedroom cottage for one week for our family of 5 + our dog and thought we were getting a great deal - $600. Their rental policy is ridiculous: they book based on 2 people occupancy and charge $75 per person or pet above that (for the week). How many people usually rent a 2 bedroom cottage... More

We stayed at the Cottages for the first time for a 3 night stay during the last week of August. The cottages were clean, we had a great time, the place is beautiful, and will probably visit at least once a year going forward. The owners/staff I spoke too were extremely helpful and friendly. Among the best summer vacations we've... More

Wow! What a pleasant surprize when we pulled up to The Scottage. The Scottage was clean both inside and out. The deck had a great view of the lake ... made even better when you were enjoying it from the hot tub! Our dogs loved the water and would run out the front door first thing in the morning to splash... More

My family of four stayed at a lakefront cottage during the July long weekend. The cottage was a new build right on Falls Lake, on Loon Drive. It was very clean, well appointed, and homey feeling. Like another poster, we spent most of the day out on the canoe, discovering nature. We would definitely stay again!!!! More

We visited a three bedroom cottage and really concluded that these folks just don't care! We were first informed that we would be charged the full base rate of $159 if we cancelled with less than 7 day's notice. This for a cottage that shows no bookings for the next 2 months. we were also told that we would have... More

We recently stayed at one of their lake access cottages and found it to be very clean. There were clean sheets and towels. The dishes were old and of varied patterns but they were clean. They had a recyle area for the seperation of our garbage and containers. The BBQ worked OK and the view was spectacular. More

In August 2008, a group met for our yearly friend/family reunion. We reserved an EXECUTIVE DELUXE Cottage at Cottage Country, NS. It looked very nice as we drove up, but boy were we dissapointed after stepping inside. A male member of our party went to use the washroom upon entering cottage and came out inquiring if the cottage was actually... More
