We stayed at Ty Gwyn for 3 nights and a spot of walking and found it to be the best B & B we have stayed in. Sue and Pete the owners were lovely and produced a faultless breakfast that was perfect fuel for a days walking. They helped us with local advice such as a superb local restaurant and... More

I spent four nights at Ty Gwyn while on a walking holiday with Dragon Trails in March 2012. I would recommend it as a super place to stay as it provides all the home-from-home comforts you could wish for; lovely host and hostess (Pete and Sue), superb food - tea and cakes something to look forward to after scaling the... This is the best B & B we have ever stayed in. Sue and Pete are most welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The rooms are great; spacious, comfortable and clean with tasteful decor. After a fantastic night's sleep we enjoyed a marvellous breakfast; fresh fruit and cereals, full Welsh (to die for) rounded off with toast and home... More

I have just returned from a very lovely stay with a group of walking pals in the Brecon Beacons which was made all the more pleasurable by the wonderful hospitality shown by Sue and Pete at their beautifully kept BnB. The rooms are spacious and everywhere is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Sue's homemade cake was a very nice treat... More

I have just returned from a week long stay during the Crickhowell Walking Festival and, once again, it was a real pleasure to stay at Ty Gwyn. Sue and Pete offer a very friendly and genuine welcome and all of the expected B&B facilities - clean, sizeable and comfy rooms, a lovely cooked breakfast and, for us walking types, a... More

My family and I stayed for 3 nights at Ty Gwyn. Sue and Pete are very friendly and helpful with suggestions on exploring the area, maps and printed directions to touristy sites. The house is about 10 minutes walk from the main area of town. We had a wonderful time in Crickhowell and hope to return! More

We've been staying at this beautiful house for many years, and we love it - whichever of the lovely rooms we find ourselves in; although we've developed a great fondness for the fantastic "cottage", which quickly feels like a home from home. Hosts Sue and Pete make their guests feel very welcome, and are true experts on this beautiful part... More

I have now stayed at this B&B four times this year, I like it so much. I only live an hours drive from Crickhowell, but I am made so welcome at Ty Gwyn that I would rather stay here than drive home at night after a days walking in the hills around Crickhowell. Sue and Pete are superb hosts and... More
