Visited the Dragon for the first time last night. It was Tapas night and the place was buzzing. I went along to play music and part of the main room had been reserved for us. The management could not have been more helpful and we were treated to Tapas. The musicians must have been appreciated as a bloke came across... More

Great welcome, food in restaurant excellent. I was travelling on my own, the room was quite small (had a small double bed) - but as I was only there one night it was fine. More

My friend and I booked this hotel for two nights and stayed for zero. We checked out after about an hour. My friends room, in the main building was acceptable, though tired, mine was totally unacceptable and this was acknowledged by the guy on reception who was apologetic that I had been allotted this particular room in the first place!... Funny place. It has the makings of a really good small hotel - good building and setting, within striking distance of the Beacons. Definitely laid back and pleasant. So why am I not swooning with passion for it? Well: Parking is interesting - there is a car park but it has the narrowest entrance in the universe and I wasn't... More

At first I thought this place would be a run down old building, but very pleasantly surprised with the whole weekend, mine host Ashley is the ideal person to run a hotel,he is charming, polite and very attentive to his clientele, nothing was too much trouble for him and his staff, the food was absolutely wonderful and I would thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone. This place is just what you'd expect from 'an inn' and more. It's halfway between a pub with rooms and a hotel. Characterful rooms - clean and comfy but not posh - friendly staff, good beer, nice food and just a great atmosphere. I was on my own on a Friday night for a cycling trip but could not have... More

My husband, three young children and myself stayed one night at the Dragon Inn. The hotel is very friendly and accommodating. We were given 3 lovely rooms on the second floor. Ideal for the children as they had 2 rooms between them. They were large, clean and very comfortable. There were plenty of tea and coffee facilities and even had blow... More

We stayed two nights, excellent service, welcoming atmosphere and good food. This is my third review on trip advisor, I have been quite critical of the other two, but thoroughly impressed by this establishment, I will definitely return. My two fussy walking companions take their breakfasts seriously and we judged the cooked breakfast as first class. Yes the bedroom /... More
