Located in a prime spot to access Crickhowell, we were delighted with our two night stay in a relaxing and spotless venue. Dinah and Brian were excellent hosts who were extremely helpful in assisting us with ideas for the the area. It was nice arrive and be given great cup of tea and cake to start our stay? They also... A short notice check in but Dinah and Brian were very welcoming and helpful. Very relaxing and comfortable rooms. Good value given all the attention to detail and amenities. Enough parking to meet their clients' needs. Best of all was the great quality breakfast. We both enjoyed the Welsh Breakfast. Being a bit fussy about needing a well cooked fried... More

Although I wrote about Ty Tal in April 2012, I thought it was worth a second review having stayed several times since. I stay there with my dad every two to three months. Dad is in his eighties, and despite health problems, enjoys short breaks away. We return to Ty Tal each time because the owners, Dinah and Brian, are... More

We stayed here for 2 nights (14th & 15th Sept 2012) to attend a wedding locally and really had a superb time. The B&B is perfectly located, with private parking and a private guest's lounge. Our room wasn't en-suite but we had a bathroom entirely for our our own use. Dunan and Brian, the Proprietors, are extremely kind and helpful,... More

We chose Ty Tal because of other good reviews on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. We were given a really warm welcome by Dinah & Brian, who were great hosts and who really couldn't have been more helpful. It is in a great spot in the village, close to the centre but with some lovely walks & places of... More

We have been walking in the brecons for years and have only just come across this place .. It is great value and the layout of the B&B works really well for walkers with the owners accommodation being separate form the main house. The hosts were very welcoming and the standard of accomadation was first class. We did not have... More

Ty Tal is a fabulous B&B in the beautiful town of Crickhowell. It is within easy walking distance of several good restaurants, pubs and shops, and is a perfect base for some stunning walks. Dinah and Brian have always provided the warmest of welcomes - including a cafetiere of coffee and home-made cake on arrival! The rooms are tastefully decorated,... More

This B&B is a must! I originally stayed here again for work and went back with my family. Dinah and Brian are lovely, so friendly and easy to get on with. The rooms are perfect, great bed, fantastic shower and a breakfast fit for a King - especially the Glamorgan sausage! Crickhowell is a lovely town to stay in, I... More
