I love Harris and will go back and will probably stay here again!!! We walked in and the man was more than happy to help us with a room and even took time to chat to us about anything and everything. He gave us a room for 6 over looking the living and kitchen are which had a nautical theme... More

The hostel, situated next to the harbor, was very comfy and the bathrooms were very comfortable. There was an open kitchen and a big table, so we could eat there as a group of 15 people. There were also sofa and a stofe, which made it even more comfy. The owner of the hostel was very friendly and gave good... More

A thoroughly lovely guesthouse in the sleeping town of Leverburgh on Harris. The owner is really friendly and the house is absolutely wonderful with it's quirky details. An excellent value with a great and trusting atmosphere! More

We stayed here overnight before a trip to St. Kilda, the bunkhouse is beautiful, elegant and quirky. The owner is very friendly, full of knowledge and enthusiasm for the area. We stayed in a 4-6 person room, plenty of room, and a wonderful atmosphere. Slightly more expensive than other hostels, but the standard makes it incredible value for money. If... More

We stayed here for one night while on a small group tour. I was in a 4 bunk room. The location was beautiful - in a little village on the coast. The bunks were very comfortable and built into the room so extremely sturdy (they don't wobble when the other person moves). The ceilings were also very high. The common... More

Stayed here as the final night of a three night stay on Lewis/Harris. We'd planned this as a little extra break so, keen to keep costs down, we had two nights in Bunkhouses & one in a B&B. This was our third night away and we had been pleasantly surprised by the previous Bunkhouse so this had a lot to... More

I don't normally stay in hostels but i thought i would try this one as it is 5 Star rated - i loved it! Each bedroom has a bathroom and the lounge area is inspiring. There is a vaulted ceiling with a boat hanging from it, lots of nautical touches and the most beautifully rustic kitchen. It had all the... More

An inspired sleep on the magical Hebridean island of Harris. One of only three 5 Star hostels in Scotland. Homely feel. Lovely wood-burner. Great selection of CDs. Child friendly. Great for groups. Lovingly upkept. Patio areas and garden full of wild orchids in summer. Lovely walk along the shore to Rodel church and for the more adventurous up Roneval mountain!... More
