We felt very welcome at the Ladysmith. The owner was most helpful with all our questions about where to go to eat and provided us with maps for walks. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and the bed very comfortable. A great breakfast too.

As a group of 5 we stayed here on a coast to coast mountain bike 'excursion' and found the Ladysmith to be an excellent B&B. Located nicely in the heart of this pictureque little town. The proprietors could not have been more helpful and the rooms were fresh and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch.

Sorry, Ladysmith, but though the place is clean and tidy, the service feels like the 1970s. I was due to stay for four nights but checked out after one. It suffers from being excellently located in a busy tourist spot - and therefore doesn't feel the need to try very hard. It could be so much nicer with not much... More

I and my friends have been coming the Ullapool guitar festival for six years, we have stayed in loads of different places during that time and consider Ladysmith House to be a jewel. The rooms are spotless, the owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly, my bed is extremely comfortable, my room contains everything you would expect in a good... More

We spent a night here on a round trip and were not overly happy with the B&B. The location is good, close to Ullapool's little harbour. The rooms were small and OK, if a bit shabby. With the electric heating they tended to be either too hot or too cold at night. We shared a bathroom, which was fine, but... More

This was an excellent choice for an all too short a stay of 2 nights. Niven is a perfect host. Breakfasts were great, especially the locally smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Cant wait to return and would highly recommend this B&B and the little town of Ullapool to anyone visiting the area.

Loved this place. Unusual, quirky, friendly, nice room, great breakfast of locally smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Really pleased we settled on Ladysmith House. Niv was the perfect host, a mind of useful information. Couldn't fault it.
