We ate at The Bladnoch Inn, after having the restaurant recommended by fellow guests, where we were staying locally. The restaurant itself is lovely, a very homely "bistro" atmosphere. Went one evening and although it was too busy for us to eat in the restaurant, we had our meal in the bar area and it was to a great quality. I had cajun chicken and my partner had sausages and mash. The portions are huge so it is really great value for money.

Do not go here for food, much better can be found elsewhere in the local area, tourist trap because it is next door to the distillery. Chicken burger ordered (we don't expect much) but one Birdseye crispy chicken slice is a disgrace considering your paying £9 for the pleasure of it.
