We stayed for one night but i wish it had been more. The owners are lovely people who were so welcoming! Our room had the most beautiful views of the Tweed. The breakfast was perfect. Kept us going all day!! I would definately stay here again!

I organised to stay at Duncan House as part of a surprise for my partner's 50th birthday & even organised to go salmon fishing for the day on the Tilmouth. Everything was superb and Kate & Jeff are wonderful hosts. We were greeted with a roaring log fire & a glass of wine each (with the rest of the bottle... More

Along with nine of our friends, my other half and I hired the whole of Duncan House, (plus the bothy), for four nights on a self catering basis over New Year. On arrival Jeff and Kate were waiting for us with fires roaring and were only to happy to show us around, let us know how things worked etc. The... More

We chose this accommodation because of other reviews on Trip Adviser and we were not disappointed. Our room overlooked the River Tweed and in the distance you could see Flood Castle. The room was furnished with a 4 poster bed that was very comfortable and the en-suite had everything you need. Jeff and Kate are great hosts and the breakfast... More

I stayed in Duncan House for the first time back in May during my annual spring trip to the Tweed. What a great B&B although I'm a little reluctant to call it such as it's more like a home from home.First class rooms,a very relaxing atmoshpere, superb breakfasts and Jeff's picnic lunchs will make you the envy if the fishing huts on... Jeff and Kate do everything possible to make one's stay at Duncan House a pleasant experience. Our room (third floor) was terrific and the views of the Tweed River and Floors Castle were lovely. The breakfasts are mindbendingly generous and delicious, and if you happen to be interested in salmon fishing on the Tweed, Jeff is your guy.
