My family and I all stayed at Abbeyside as we were all attending a wedding in the area. The B&B was fantastic & very tastefully decorated; the rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We were asked to choose what we wanted for breakfast the night before which was great. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and in... More

Fabulous people, great peace and comfort, a delicious and plentiful breakfast! It is difficult to put into words how simply amazing I found Abbeyside B & B. A thick covering of snow on my middle day but a cleared path to the road and to and around my car. The sculptures in the garden are worth a visit in their... More

Almost immediately struck up a warm rapport with our host (Jimmy). He was so friendly and shared his local knowledge. The B&B was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely room overlooking their exceptional garden. A fabulous home-from-home and I would happily return. Highly recommend this lovely home.

This small B&B is right by the abbey, it's very very clean, breakfast is great, centrally located and a perfect place for a stop-over in Kelso. The owners are very pleasant and chatty and our stay there was great.

Abbey location in Kelso, close to all amenities, restaurants & pubs. Abbeyside is extremely clean, with comfortable beds. Hospitality is fantastic with generous breakfasts and lots to choose from. Parking easy. Fabulous garden & lounge area available for guests to use. Great base for touring the borders. Nearby riverside walk.

We stayed two nights at Abbeyside, just 2 minutes walk into the centre of Kelso but tucked away from busy roads giving us a lovely quiet sleep. Our host Jimmy was a real jem - friendly and a great cook, with a very pretty garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Abbeyside is a real gem, tucked away behind Kelso Abbey, with the most magnificent garden. We were made very welcome and Jimmy our host could not have been more helpful. He is very talented and the garden had lots of interesting and amusing copper birds, animals and sculptures made by him, which added greatly to its charm. We had a... More
