As a family we went for Sunday luch to help my mother-in-law celebrate her 80th birthday. We chose the carvery which had a wide selection of meats and vegi dishes available plus a children's menu. Stayed here with a friend this week whilst driving at Cadwell Park. Accommodation was great - just what I expected for the price. Good shower (always important!). Friendly bar with great beers and wholesome food, albeit portions on the large side. Loved the ford at the entrance to the car park! (there is also a dry route in!).

We are elderly & choose this restaurant to have a meal for a special occasion. Placed in a dark "snug" dining room. We found the staff condescending & the meal mediocre. No great choice on the menu. Long waits between courses. I do not think we will go there again.

Went for a meal there today, Found the service very poor, we had to remind staff that we were waiting for our drinks that we ordered. have been there many times before, but dont think i will rush back.

We didnt stay in the hotel but decided to have dinner at the Splash as it is local to my partners relatives. Excellent pub and hotel! The room was clean and tidy, bed linen clean and well presented. Bathroom clean and all working. Landlord and landlady very welcoming and easy to talk to.
