Wonderful little find, excellent value for money, stayed whilst working in the area along with my work colleagues, managed to get a table in the restaurant, wonderful food and service, and we even joined in the pub quiz. The rooms were very clean spacious and comfortable. Looking forward to returning in the next couple of weeks

Me and a friend had been told of the great steaks at Ashley, so we decided to visit, we had a couple of pints and the best steak I have ever had, all the staff were very friendly especially the owner who couldn't do enough for us, wish she was single !! looking forward to going there gain. Alan.

We passed through Ashley and stopped for Sunday lunch at the George. Wow! The service was fantastic, friendly and above all very efficient. They were so enthusiastic about the local produce and had every reason to be. The food was excellent. Great value, friendly service and a wonderful location. I highly recommend the George.

We stayed in the Tresham room which is compact, but fine for our 1 night stay. There is nowhere to sit down apart from on the bed, but there was a reasonable sized built in wardrobe, so at least we were not tripping over the luggage.
