I would definitely recommend the Harrabeer. The location is fantastic for exploring Dartmoor! Micheal and Amanda definitely make the stay, the couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The food was great - huge portion sizes so forget the diet! Local produce too which was a big thumbs up.

Many 'counntry house hotels' are chintzy and overpriced, this one is evrything those should seek to emulate. Michel and Amanda are kind and welcoming hosts and the accommodation and food is of excellent quality. I have no reservations about recommending this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this beautiful part of the country. watty
