We just popped in for late lunch. We had dogs with us, this was not a problem, which was good. Service was pretty good and pretty quick. Food great- fresh fish but the standard frozen chips. Biggest let down were tables still dirty and not cleared- it wasn't that busy! We would go back

We have just returned from a weekend at this hotel. We had a lovely room number 8 with double aspect windows, views of sea and harbour. Breakfast very good standard and service was good. We eat in bar underneath one night, food pretty standard. On Saturday we eat at No 6 Paul Ainssworth-Whites restaurant which was excellent.

We did not stay in any of the rooms, but used the bar and restaurant a few nights. Firstly I would say the location was great and the car park is across the road, but Padstow isn't overly car friendly so we went in by foot most nights. As a lager drinker I was shocked to find a few main... More

Delicious fish stew served with warm bread rolls & good Cornish butter. Surprisingly good for pub grub.

We booked the old custom house in padstow for a fun night away in a pretty location. The location was excellent, right on the quay but the hotel was not up to scratch for the prices they charge, (we paid £130) The room was very small and rather tired, a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss! The coffee and tea... More

We stayed at the Old Custom House Inn over the Bank holiday weekend. Great location and friendly, helpful staff. However, our room was very tired looking. The carpet was stained in places, as were some of the pillow cases! The floor in the bathroom certainly needed up-dating as did the general decor in the bedroom. The hair dryer wasn't working... Go to Padstow regularly , and always have drinks in this wonderfully positioned pub right on the harbour , but never eaten there till last week and what a bonus . Ham egg and chips perfect , fish and chips great and scampi and chip spot on . Good value friendly service , we went in late April which is... More

This is a very nice place to stop in Padstow if you are looking to treat yourself. It is situated right on the Harbour front with the carpark, shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Beware though that there is no free car parking at the hotel and it costs £6.50 a day across the road. We stopped at... More

Warm and welcoming pub, chose it after trawling through many reviews on trip-advisor. Would recommend checking if a football match is on before going, we sat down as one started but the TV was at a reasonable volume and people generally sat down quietly to watch the game. Had a look at the menu and went to order our food... More

This hotel is loaded with old world charm combined with all the comforts of home. Great for singles, couples and families. The staff are friendly and helpful. A very big plus is that you have internal access to both their adjoining pub and restaurant. This is very unusual in a small, boutique 300 year old building. And if there is... More
