When I was in culinary school at West Suffolk College we visited Ickworth and I fell in love straight away. We have come here several times and loved every meal we have had. Sadly we have moved and I so miss the craw fish salad it was our favorite! Hope to visit soon and have another wonderful meal. More

Set amongst stunning Suffolk countryside, Ickworth Hotel has multiple treatments and diversions on offer. Extremely friendly and completely geared up for families, the hotel boasts a nursery and creche facilities. Would recommend Ickworth Hotel for a lovely weekend of spa treatments and general laid-back activities. My wife really enjoyed her Mamma Mio spa treatment. More

My friends and I visited the Ickworth Hotel for afternoon tea and it was by far the most disappointing service and food we have experienced in our regular trips to various establishments for tea. We sat in a rather empty conservatory, which was not even staffed upon entry. The waitress was friendly enough but not very professionally attired as you... More

3rd visit to Ickworth, and even better than before! Staff really welcoming, atmosphere really relaxed, lovely food and of course the amazing surroundings. "Grand Tour" is a wonderful room - HUGE bed, lovely views over the gardens, really light and airy bathroom, and just at the top of the main stairs. Agree with the comments others have made about needing... More

We visted Ickworth Hotel during the Easter weekend and despite the cold and wet weather we had a really good stay. The creche facilites are really good and our little two year old girl even looked forward to going there for a couple of hours, which was great for my hubby and I to sit in the lounge , read... More

We visited Ickworth in the February half term with children and despite the cold wet weather has a great stay. The Luxury Family group has been bought out of the von essen receivership by the original founders of the chain and it feel as though the group has returned home. The staff were attentive and happy, delivering the old caring,... More

Mmmmm, this is going to be a difficult one. Exceptional staff on the phone and on reception and check in and out. A problem we had was dealt with professionally by manager Carl and we came to a satisfactory conclusion. The new website is extremely scant on info. Carl told me today that the hotel is due for a refurbishment... More

The building is amazing from the outside: truly stunning. But our bedroom (we paid for a bigger room) and much of the interior public spaces are a little shabby and certainly not to the level of luxury finish you'd expect at the price. Our second floor rear-facing bedroom was very hot even with the radiators off, when the temperature outside... More
