I've stayed at Seamham Hall twice. The first time was for my mother's 60th Birthday in November and seven of us visited. My mum loved it so much, she took four of us back in Feb! The rooms are huge with lovely views. There's no tea and coffee making facilities, but if you call reception they will bring you a... More

We paid £200 for a classic suite with breakfast for a 1 night stay, in this 5* hotel. Although guest rooms should be availabe at 3.00pm, when we arrived at 3.30pm, we were advised that our room was still being cleaned. We were given complimentary coffee and biscuits in the drawing room, and our room was ready at about 4.00pm.... More

Rubbish ! Not at all what is to be expected from such a well respected establishment. One of outdoor spas was not working and staff said it had not worked for along time. This resulted in being told that there was a time limit to the amount of time spent in the spa by other rude guests ! The meal... More

Ive stayed here quite a few times and have enjoyed every single time. The Spa is great, the staff are fantastic and the White Room restaurant is sublime. It did get perhaps a little tatty at one stage but i think this had something to do with the demise of Von Essen. It never really affected my enjoyment of the... More

We have just retuned from a weekend and we have had the most wonderful stay, the service was so good it needs commenting on, we ate in the White Room on our first night and it was faultless. I called for room sevice which was prompt and she also when the extra mile and offered to get a tray and... More

Seaham Hall is such a treat and the spa is so relaxing. The walk from the rooms with bathrobes and slippers is definitely a treat and not scary or embarrassing. The room we had was very well designed it contempory fashion and bloody massive. An old fashioned bath in the main room too was a novelty. Top drawer service and... More

Went for a twilight spa visit over the may bank holiday. I have visited the spa a number of times before and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately there were a few issues which left us disappointed this time. They now charge £1 for the use of complimentary slippers! Our letter said we got the slippers provided as we... More

A freind and myself took advantage of a great corporate offer and spent the day at Serenity Spa Seaham Hall on 4.5.2012. Top marks to everyone concerned who made our day so enjoyable. The facilities were the best I have experienced and the staff excellent. Worth every penny. More

We have had a spa day today and it is a nice place and the therapists were very nice but the whole place is looking shabby and a bit run down. Just some new cushions and a lick of paint would go a long way! All those finishing touches you expect for the price are missing. I won't be returning... More
