My husband and I spent a very happy week at the Hotel Victoria last month. The staff, in particular Zaire who served at breakfast, were helpful, friendly and efficient. We met the chef, a lovely Scotsman who must also be mentioned for the wonderful food, beautifully presented and terrific value. Many non residents ate there in the evenings. All praise... More

Parking is an absolute nightmare, but do not let this deter you. Town hotel in the old quarter of an historic town. Large room, large bed ...but 2 wardrobes??? leaving no great space around. Small shower/bathroom. Restaurant is first class even when the Senior Chef (a Scotsman) is on holiday. Breakfast ok; the fruit juice is not fresh fruit. The... More

A very pleasant town hotel. The small staff here works incredibly hard and deliver excellent and friendly service. Apart from some confusion about our booking, everything was well organised. Our room was large and quiet, plainly decorated but very comfortable. The chef is really good and dinners were enjoyable and good value. Overall an excellent stay.

We stayed just three nights in a two-centre week. We seemed to get lucky with room 102 which, while it fronted the narrow one-way street, boasted a large private terrace with views of the sea in one direction and Mount Teide in the other. The hotel is in an old building but is very well kept, the highpoint being the... More

We spent our honeymoon at this hotel and it was a wonderful choice. We had the balcony suite and enjoyed the period interior of the hotel and it's historical location. The friendly chef provided special vegetarian meals and the staff were helpful and accommodating. A tasteful and individual hotel for those who wish to avoid the mass holiday industry and... More

I stayed with my husband and another couple here as part of a walking holiday. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights over New Year - ate in the restaurant on 2 occasions, the food was excellent and the vegetarian in our party of 4 was well catered for. Rooms were clean and comfortable.... Six of us stayed over Christmas. Four vegetarians and two meat eaters. The staff we welcoming and very friendly. We dined in the restaurant on two occasions. Unfortunatly they were unable to accommodate for vegetarians on Christmas day, but chef Richard who is Scottish, cooked two meals for us. He was friendly and was happy to cook vegetarian food. The... Called for lunch as menu of the day looked excellent value. The decor inside this small, beautiful hotel was traditional and very clean. Menu of the day was a three course meal including a glass of gorgeous local wine. Starter was pork, jalapeno and avocado tapas (fantastic!) Main was white tuna steak in a beautiful baby olive and tomato sauce... More
