I have stayed here quite a few times and would highly recommend it. Annette and Aidan provide an excellent service. They greet their guests with a warm and friendly welcome each time and ensure great care is taken for their every need. The B & B is ideally located and has great rates. Breakfast of porridge, fresh juice and a... More

I have stayed here a number of times over the year. You are always met by Annette and Aidan's friendliness and helpfulness. The house is well situated just outside the town of Maynooth and very near Carton House. The rooms are spotless and have all the comforts of home. Breakfast is tasty. I would highly recommend this place for value... More

I would have to say the Bn B was very nice and the hosts couldn't have been better. Very friendly hosts. Clean and Tidy rooms. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The owners were helpful . Nice cup of Coffee in the room was there.

Annette, our hostess, made us feel welcome from the moment we rang the doorbell. The warm welcome and pleasant conversations made for a wonderful experience. She and her husband were so helpful and even provided us with a map along with directions towards our next stop. Our room was impeccably clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Guaranteed a good night’s... More

We stayed at Kilcar House whilst attending a wedding at Carton House. We enjoyed it very much, breakfast was great and Annette could not do enough to help us or make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Won't be back. Sorry lads but in a competing market this doesn't cut it. Cheap but not cheerful. Room less than basic and could hear everything from adjoining rooms.

If you like your hosts wierd as well as unpleasant this is the place for you. The guests are treated like children and it will cloud your holiday experience. A fellow guest was warned not to go out in the evening or she would not be allowed to board there! The breakfast was quite nice but the poor golfers were... More

I am very disappointed to read your review of your stay with us. I am shocked that you felt that you or other guests were treated like children and that your holiday experience was clouded. It is most unfortunate that you felt you could not raise your concerns or your concerns for other guests before you departed. I speak with... More

I have stayed at Kilcar house each year for my annual visit to Ireland over the last 5 years. This B&B has the best, most hospitable service I have ever experienced. The rooms are sparkling and clean each day, the setting is beautiful and serene and perfect for a sound night's sleep. The location is perfect proximity to sights, golfing,... More

At the beginning of the phonecall I throught I was imagining the woman's tone to be very impatient and unfriendly. But as the booking progressed I realised I wasnt imagining it atall. I went to a wedding in Carton House in August this year. The b&b was a perfect location as it was the nearest bed and breakfast to the hotel. I also found it easy to find as it was well sign posted. The rooms were clean and well kept. I also thought the breakfast in the morning was very generous... More
