As a native Dub now living "down the country" my partner and I found ourselves in Dublin with nowhere to sty on I think the busiest weekend in Dublin ( Bon Jovi concerts etc), I rang at least 10 hotels and I was told no rooms available. So on the last roll of the dice I rang Roganstown and my... More

Stayed at the Roganstown Hotel and Country Club at the end of May for 6 days. The staff were courteous and helpful. The accomodations were well appointed. The grounds were fantastic. The bar and dining room were welcoming. The breakfast buffet was hot and extensive. We arrived early morning after a transatlantic flight and the receptionist was able to check us... More

We came over to Ireland for a family get together and enjoyed a thoroughly enjoyable couple of days here. We booked rooms adjacent at the Heyward Mews (self catering) which were also of excellent value, location and spec'. Both come highly recommended.

We ate in McGloughlins restaurant and our meal was superb. The staff were very helpful and made sure that everybody was served together. The hotel rooms were very... More

We went here for a function for 150 and being an executive chef trained in banqueting for alot more than this I can honestly say this place is shocking. I have never eaten food of such poor standard and service. We stayed for two night and were treated to mince for both and it was discusting no choice no veg... More

We stayed here the last night of our honeymoon. It was a really nice hotel, the grounds were tremendous. The staff was courteous and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. Room was nice, but ordinary and it was a bit tough to get to (it's really burried through the woods). We were heading into Temple Bar from here --... More

A one night stay having arrived from Dubai: beautiful Georgian house with helpful staff..I had a dinner and B&B deal; it was no problem to eat in the bar , food excellent as was the adjacent golf course. Well respected attractive rural area, just the tonic having arrived from the desert! Could not fault any area.
