On our trip to Iceland mid January we visited Eldhestar and did a 3-hour ride (Tour 2A). It couldn’t had been better. Sun and no clouds on the sky. Absolutely white snow covering the landscape. Very good tolting horses. Kind and professional staff. We will definitely visit Eldhestar again both in summer and winter.

The rooms are clean and spacious-- and there are two hot pots with stunning sunset views. Breakfast and dinner there were both bountiful and delicious, and I loved all of the artwork around the hotel. Coffee and tea were always available and the staff was lovely. I would definitely stay here again if I was passing through the area.
