End of February 2012 we visited the Myvatn region to spot the Northern Lights. For three nights we stayed at this hotel. Beautiful room with great view. Delicious breakfast. Nice staff. Good suggestions. We were supplied with walking attributes for day trips in this great region. And we saw the Lights! Three nights!

The hotel is in a great location, in close proximity to the sights and thermal bath. Clean, decent sized rooms with free wifi.

The hotel is in a good location near the lake. The room was clean and comfortable, although nothing special. We had been expecting a chilly welcome, after reading our Lonely Planet guide, but the receptionist was friendly and gave us tips and information about the local area. The breakfast was fine.
