Let me start by saying that we have been to the peloponnese in general many times and mani in particular a few times in the past. This time we chose it because we were visiting greece for a few days and wanted somewhere close to athens (where we flew to) that combined sea and mountain (it is about three and... More

Nice hotel located a few kms from Gytheio, with direct access to the beach. The staff is very friendly, smiling and welcoming which we highly appreciated. Rooms are nice but a bit nude/cold, it would be worth trying to warm them up with some nicer decoration. Rooms have a nice balcony, ours had an enjoyable view on the beach/ sea.... More

I can't say a bad word about my experience at Costello Antico. We spent three nights here in November, the manager Dimitrios is a splendid host, his local knowledge allowed us to make the most of the time we had in the region, and nothing was too much trouble for him, he really went above and beyond the call of... The location of this hotel is wonderful, right on the beach. It also has a lovely swimming pool although cold. It has a nice pool bar and overall nice ambiance. The receptionist is very friendly and was most helpful. A couple of things to note: there are some things on the property not completed so wires stick out here and... More

We stayed for 2 nights on weekdays in mid-October. We had the hotel almost to ourselves. We spent the days touring the Mani region. Being able to have a quick refreshing swim in the sea at the end of the day was a wonderful bonus. Breakfasts were tremendous. Service could not have been more patient or kinder. The room was... A very welcoming hotel with exceptional staff. Our room was beautifully furnished with a really comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The balcony had views to the sea. The pool and bar area is really attractive and the restaurant serves delicious dinners with immaculate service. We would love to return to this hotel for a relaxing break with its outstanding... We stayed here in early October, and so with it being the end of the season and fewer visitors visiting Greece this year than usual we almost had the place to ourselves. Only half a hotel.... However, accommodation is only half of any hotel. This hotel fails because altho the bar and restaurant are very well... More
