This was the 11th time we stayed at Arsenic and Old Lace and each time multiple nights (anywhere from 2 to 4 nights each visit). Doug and Beverly set the bar extremely high when comparing this B&B to others. The property is well kept. The owners are so very kind, accomodating and friendly (without being overbearing). The bed and shower... More

My husband and I visited Eureka Springs with his parents. We wanted a neat B & B to be the backdrop of our visit. We found Arsenic and Old Lace by way of Select Registry - this organization has a dependable quality of inns. Arsenic and Old Lace did not disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Eureka Springs and... More

Arsenic and Old Lace is so quaint, the owners are extremely accomodating, and the sheets were about a million thread count. It was the perfect place to stay on our first trip to Eureka Springs!

Bill and Pat We stayed at the Arsenic and Old Lace B&B in March of 2012. My husband had just retired and we wanted a quiet get away. It was a lovely place to stay and the breakfasts were wonderful. The owners, Doug and Beverly, were very friendly and helpful in directing us on some things to do. The Inn... More

We are honored that Bill and Pat chose to share their experience with other future guests. Beverly, the staff and I share a mission of making folks feel like they are home, except we do the cooking and cleaning. We look forward to seeing our guests again when they have the opportunity to return to Eureka Springs! More

Doug and Beverly were great hosts. They were sociable yet not imposing. Although I had a hard time not feeling as if we were imposing. They made us feel very welcome. Doug was so knowledgeable about the area and Beverly was an amazing cook. Our bed was fantastic as were the amazing sheets. I can only hope to visit again... More

This was an anniversary/valentines get away and we were so happy with the inn keepers and the inn that we have already reserved for next trip. The food was over the top, snacks, drinks and fresh baked items are available all the time. My other 1/2 said this was the first room I've stayed in that I want to take... More

Doug and Beverly Breitling provided us the perfect get-away. Their B&B is beautifully furnished and well-equipped and located close to shopping, dining anbd entertainment. The rooms are spacious and squeaky clean. The Breitlings are great hosts, offering us both their hospitality and excellent advice about goods and services available in Eureka Springs. Each morning, Doug prepares an outstanding gourmet breakfast... More

My last review of Arsenic and Old Lace in Eureka Springs, Ark. was not published for some reason. Don't know. But here it is. Stayed 2010. Doug and Beverly are the most gracious folks you will ever find in a B&B. Made us feel like family. Great room and great location in a small town. We would never stay anywhere... More

My husband & I stayed here for a one night getaway and had a wonderful time. In the morning we went out to the patio and watched the deer come up to eat while we drank our coffee. The breakfast they served was great. We found the couple who own the place very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to come... More

Arsenic and Old Lace was such a wonderful place to spend a long weekend. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, very hospitable inn keepers Beverly and Doug, amazing breakfast and the softest bed sheets ever! It is located far enough from the downtown to be quiet but close enough to be there in a second. We got to watch a... More
