I really liked this place, very well situated, just by La Loire. So many beautiful castles around there and so much to see. Just accross La Loire is Amboise, lots of great restaurants, great shopping and lots of to be seen, probably about a 3-4 minute drive away. The owners were very nice also, if you love a great rustic... More

What can I add that hasn't already been said by other reviewers? I think some things up front to note: My review is as an American who does not have daily access to fairytale environments, so perhaps I'm more easily impressed (note to Americans (and Canadians) -- you will be impressed by the Chateau de Nazelles). Also, I'm not from... More

We stayed here for only one night but wished it was more. Totally charming B&B with comfortable beds, big rooms, lovely sitting rooms, good breakfast, and friendly and helpfu hosts. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area and would highly recommend!

I recently visited Chateau Nazelles and our stay lived up to every expectation. What you will read in the other reviews about a gracious and thoughtful host are all true - Veronique was wonderful. And the chateau itself was just lovely - so charming and unique..very quiet and peaceful with wonderful views. As far as the room details - the... More

We stayed with another couple in the 'pavilion lucas' for 3 nights and it was perfect. Very spacious with great bedrooms, bathrooms, private deck, and living room carved out stone. If you are planning a trip to Loire Valley you should consider Chateau de Nazelles. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The property itself is beautiful, quaint and... More

With so many wonderful places to visit in France, it is unusual for us to return so soon to a place, even though we loved it the first time. We returned to Chateau Nazelles after having stayed here in 2010. If possible, it was more beautiful and serene than we remembered! There is something magical about this place, it is... More

We stayed here in mid-August for 2 nights in the 'little house' which is a newly built house, separate from the rest of the chateau. The little house was tastefully decorated and very spacious. It was perfect for our family of 4-including 2 teenagers. It was also a treat to have a swimming pool available after a day spent site-seeing.... More

We stayed at Chateau Nazelles with the idea of enjoying the village atmoshpere rather than a busier in-town hotel experience. The goal was to drive to the neighboring chateaux but also come back to a place with its own unique identity. This property has an inviting feeling and a certain magical mystery proper to the general Amboise area of trogdolyte... More

I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and I never will except to come back here. Chateau des Nazelles was an amazing experience. I really doibt I can top this B&B experience. The property was beautiful, it's maintained to perfection, and Veronique is such a gracious host. It doesn't matter which room you get, they are all so... More

My husband and I loved Chateau Nazelles! We stayed in the Marie Louise room. It was beautiful and quiet. The chateau grounds are lovely and well maintained. Our room was large, as was the bathroom. Veronique was a wonderful hostess. This is a great launching pad for seeing the Loire valley. Amboise is larger, but very much a tourist trap.... More
