I chose this motel for a one night stopover in Yuma based on Tripadvisor reviews. I was not disappointed. It is dated but is clean, quiet, comfortable and well maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is my understanding that the motel has changed ownership recently. It is my hope that the new owners will maintain the excellent standard... More

I won't repeat all of the positive comments that have already been posted about the Yuma Cabana other than to say I found it well located for an overnight stop. The room far exceeded my expectations, it was large, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool looked wonderful, although I didn't get a chance to try it. The... More

The Yuma Cabana is a 1960's style two story, cement block building, that has been meticulously maintained and kept up to date. The grounds are kept beautifully groomed. I liked the ceramic "art-deco" lamps. And the lighting was excellent. The room I stayed in had a Lazy-Boy recliner, good satellite TV, comfortable king bed, desk, fridge, micro, hair dryer, two... Per the other reviews, this is a friendly, well run and clean place. Stayed here for a night and appreciated the heated pool and general orderliness. However, the area around it is pretty lacking in charm or walkability (older commercial strip). The bulk of the "stuff to see" is in the "old" downtown area near the bend in the river.... More

Arriving late in the evening after driving 1800 miles in 2 days we needed to find a motel for a much needed night of rest. We checked 3 motels in the area, the first was not in our budget, the latter 2 were not clean and smelled of carpet deodorizer. My wife noticed the AAA approved Yuma Cabana sign and... More

This place is great. The staff is amazingly attentive and informative. The rooms are sooooo clean and nicely set up. The Lazyboy chair was a real plus for my husband. Prices were reasonable. Beds were good and certain rooms have either a patio or deck that you can sit outside on. They have a fantastic salt water heated pool as... More

This motel was recommended by friends as an independently-owned and operated place with nice people. From the moment we walked into reception we felt welcome, and this friendliness continued throughout our stay. The room was clean and had good lighting (we like reading in bed), a desk and chair for computer, good WIFI, and, a bonus: a recliner! Good value.... More

The Yuma Cabana is a gem of happiness among more sterile higher priced chains. The people are nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is restful, and the breakfast is a kind gesture considering the excellent budget price for the room. To speak to the earlier review, I'm sorry mega-giant Expedia's overreaching policy made the motel look bad,and... More

The wife and I went to Yuma in January and stayed one night at this motel. Although I have seen rave reviews for this place we were sadly dissapointed. Why? It was frezzing cold in the room and there is no temperature adjustment. We went to bed at 8 PM in all the covers. By morning the heat had been... More

Dear Guest: Thank you for your feedback here on TripAdvisor. We value every guest and it is important to us hear feedback, both positive and sometimes negative. One of the programs at the Yuma Cabana that sets us apart from others, we believe, is our excellent customer service. Let me say from the outset that we cannot apologize enough for... More
