i was positively surprised by this motel. It didn't look very nice from the outside - actually it was dark there, because we got there about 9 p.m. The motel is placed in a school building - it was renovated of course. Me and my boyfriend were going from Monument Valley and looking for some place to sleep. In this... More

We stumbled on this place, when every where else in the area was booked up, I was alittle worried at first, because I did not know what to expect, but needing to bed down for the night decided to give it a go, must say it was an experience, the room was very large, clean and with a tv, I... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed one night in this hostel during our trip in USA. This is a former high school, so the rooms are available only in the periods of school closure. This is the cheapest accomodation in the surroundings of tuba city.... nothing special, but not so bad, at the end. The room was clean and confortable, TV... More

We stayed at this former high school / training facility motel one night. It reminded us of our university room: grey brick walls, shared bathrooms and toilets. The room was ok, with TV and sink, apparently clean. We slept well. The positive point was definitely the price: 60 dollars, a bargain.

I've stayed at Greyhills for two five-day sessions. We were on a church mission trip serving alongside one of the churches in Tuba City. it's very important to know it's on the campus of a boarding vocational school; my understanding is that some of the staff are students learning tourism management. The Inn is a converted dormitory that was switched... More

Ah, the Greyhills Inn. The worst place I've stayed in while in the States. Redeeming qualities are the staff (at least most of them), its location between the Canyon and Monument Valley, and the fact that it has no competitors in its price-class. 65 bucks is quite expensive, however, for what is essentially a dirty hostel room. Bathrooms are shared,... More

this motel is ugly but this is not the problem. We spent a terrible night in this place. The air conditionned is very very strong so it's really cold inside and it's really noisy (You can't stop it) so it's like sleeping in a plane. Plus, there was not any warm water (Very cold). Don't go in this place if... More

Tuba City is surely not a place you would like to stay long as there is literally nothing there. It is though a nice stop between the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. The Grey Hills Inn is an old high-school dorm that has been transformed into a hotel. It is a quite funny place to stay in. Looked like the... More

Much like a hostel, the Gray Hills Inn is comfortable, clean, warm and affordable. We happened upon it one night while touring thru Navajo Nation and the people were warm and friendly while the accomodations were above average for this type of shelter. There is a shared bathroom which is expansive, beautifully decorated and immaculate and the room itself was... More

I was touring through the Navajo Nation over the summer and stumbled upon this quaint & affordable place. Greyhills Inn is operated much like a hostel, in that the rooms were private but there was the community-shared bathrooms. I did not mind the accommodations, just as long as I had a bed to sleep in and a place to wash... More
