I have been a guest at the Twin Palms for five years with my most recent trip in November of 2010. My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. My room is always clean and the environment was great for our young child. The location to ASU and Tempe events was very convenient. Twin... More

Bed bugs, smelly, disgusting beds but USAIRWAYS subjects its flight crews to stay at this miserable place. There are so many hotels to choose from surrounding the airport it is an absolute shame that anyone has to endure the misery of this "hotel". More

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, which is right across from ASU. Other than this, there is no other thing to talk about. This is not a hotel, but a crappy Howard Johnson kind of 7-8 floor motel. Bed has bugs and bathroom has mold. My toilet was leaking most of the time and even after... More

The building is old (used to be a Howard Johnsons, in the 1960s) and needs a thorough renovation. The best thing going for it is location. My room had a beautiful view of Gammage Auditorium, the ASU campus, and mountains beyond. Very good information on dining and other local attractions is provided. IHOP adjoining. Guests are given access to the... More

Worst hotel experience ever. When told of the problem, all they offered me was a change of rooms. Never again--and if you decide to stay there anyway, avoid room 721--infested (and I have the bites on my feet and legs to prove it). More

I stayed here, with a large group of people, on business for a week. This is not the best nor worst hotel we have hit in our travels, but it definitely needs some improvements. One of the most frustrating things is the elevator. There are two, but only one works, and it is extremely slow. Allow several extra minutes because... More

I booked a room for Feb 29-March 2, 2008. When I arrived they had no record of my reservation. I spelled my name five different ways and nothing. Finally they said they did have a room available so they made a new reservation and my husband paid for it with a different credit card than the one we had used... More

Stayed here for two nights while visiting ASU for work reasons. My experience with staff was the opposite of what others have recently reported. Had contact with two shuttle drivers and three front desk staff. All were friendly and efficient. For example, when the front desk staff realized five minutes after checkin he had forgotten to give me envelope left... More

The Twin Palms Hotel Tempe has a lot of potential: a swimming pool, a bar, and a good location close to Phoenix airport and very close to ASU. However, poor management detracts from what this hotel could be. The rooms are of a good size, and are clean. Cleaning is efficient and done well. The rooms come with TV and... More

The hotel is acceptable if you just want to sleep and do your business at ASU, which is right across the street. My room (312) had a tub with obvious patchwork, and the remote did not work well. The main issue is that front desk was not the most competent in understanding and implementing instructions. My first problem was reserving... More
