My husband and I went to the lodge and stayed in the private bungalow. We were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The bungalow, with private patio, was immmaculate, with all new appliances. Mark was such a gracious host and we enjoyed his breakfact with gusto. We went on January 24-26. The weather was perfect!!! We can't wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed in the Gurley Street Lodge with two other couples. The 6 of us had only good things to say about the beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast and hospitality of our host, Mark. We had a happy hour in the living room before going out to dinner and had a great time. Our room was... More

Sent my mother here to celebrate her birthday with what she thought was an old friend. Wasn't a good choice at all.

Stayed just one night but Mark (host/owner) provided a wonderful lodging experience. The main lodge is a reclaimed 'log' home/cabin (very large) that has been upgraded, remodeled and made extremely inhabitable!! My room was spacious, nicely appointed and quiet! The bed was a bit firm but otherwise the room was well laid out and very clean, nice facilities and comfortable... More

Mark has done a great job with this property. We stayed in the Butte Room and found it to be restful and recharging. The property overall is gorgeous and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast - incredible. Within walking distance of downtown but far enough to allow peace and tranquility.

Mark is a great host and cook! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. My only recommendation would be some comfy couches and chairs in the lodge living room. A perfect place to get away for anyone who needs to unplug from the real world!

At the last minute, my wife and I decided to get away for a weekend in Prescott. We picked the Gurley Street Lodge based on the VR tour on the website and all of the positive reviews. Fortunately, there was one room left in the lodge, and we had a wonderful weekend! The lodge was quiet, cozy and comfortable and... More

We decided to travel to Prescott for our annual Kid-Free Weekend. We've never stayed at a bed and breakfast, but decided to give one a try. We are so delighted that we found the Gurley Street Lodge. It's just about a mile up the road from the Courthouse Square, but once you're on the property you'd never know you were... More

A wonderful find with a gracious host. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with masses of space and good storage areas. The fireplace was a great bonus as the evenings were becoming cool. The Lodge is quaint and homey feeling but with all useful travel necessities and lovely decor. Mark's breakfasts were excellent and he was fun and helpful.... More

As someone with allergies and chemical sensitivities I was quite comfortable in the cabin. My daughter and I enjoyed having a kitchen and outdoor barbecue. It was close to downtown and to outlying areas great for walking. Mark provided wonderful breakfasts tailored to my special needs. The lodge has lovely artwork, creative and pleasant outdoor areas, and great service. We... More
