We stayed a little over a week at Le Vasa resort in Samoa and absolutely fell in love with the place and the people who make it come alive! The grounds are best described as well tended botanical gardens. The colors and different plant types are stunning. The resort is just a short kayak to the reef and the open... More

My partner and I splashed out on a night at Le Vasa for our anniversary for a change from the budget fales and hotels we stayed in for the rest of our trip. The staff were very friendly and we got a good impression of the place, particularly its great location. We got the second-cheapest room, overlooking the lagoon. However,... More

My partner and I travelled to Samoa to stay at Le Vasa on the 22nd April 2013 to be married, with 23 of our family and friends I really cannot rate Le Vasa and the staff highly enough. Miliama, Seresa, Susan, Sharon and Soraya- not to mention all the others were just fantastic- nothing was ever too much to ask.... More

Wonderful Samoa! Very comfortable, outstanding views, good food. Unfortunately the water is a little milky from the fine white sand, not conducive to snorkeling but there are plenty of other things to do. On Sunday, go for a walk through the adjacent villages and listen to the music, meet the people, it is sensational! Ask the girls in the kitchen... More

Arrival was smooth with an easy pickup from the airport. Resort is lovely and in reasonably good condition - some fantastic sunsets and a decent range of free to use facilities (kayaks, paddle boats, fishing handlines..). It's a quiet place and very relaxing. The downside for us was the expensive restaurant (for what is mostly pretty average food), the silty... More

Nice little resort, close to the airport (but not affected by the few planes that use it), comfy, cute little bungalows with air con, trad decor in the main rooms and nice modern bathrooms. Set right on the beach, with well maintained grounds, nice pool and restaurant setting. Service is excellent. Restaurant is ok but very expensive, with only one... More

After travelling from Fiji and staying in a 5 star resort, I found Samoa very traditional and perfect for relaxing. If you are looking for adrenalin activities or amusement for children, then Samoa would not fit. Our stay at Le Vasa was very memorable and if I returned to Samoa would stay there again. We were collected from the airport... More

I stayed in the Le Vasa resort October 2012, with two friends! We stayed in the cheapest room available, and when we arrived we were not dissapointed with our room, it was clean and samoan themed however we were surprised when we opened a door right into the reception! Aside from that the room was fine, nothing fancy but good... More

I have to agree totally with Madeleine who stayed at La Vasa recently. Although our last stay was in 2012 and we arrived at the resort at 1230 we were told that check in is at 2pm and whilst this was not a long time to wait, when one arrives after a long flight it is nice to go into... More

Thank you for commenting positively about our fales being very good, spacious & overlooking the ocean, we do take pride in providing a beautiful environment for our guests. You did comment that it is standard practice that most resorts have a check-in time of 2 pm. We are a boutique resort with 15 rooms and we employ a couple of... More
