The Mellenia Hotel is a good base when staying in and exploring Apia as it provides comfortable and clean facilities at a reasonable cost. The Millenia is a "hotel" and not a "resort" so don't expect to lounge around the pool with crowds and have the availability of resort type activities. The rooms over looking the pool are of an... My colleague and I recently stayed at Hotel Millenia since most of the nicer hotels were already booked because of many events going on in Samoa during my business trip there. Upon checking in we discovered that our reservation was changed? My colleague ended up getting one of the rooms above the restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the room.... More

I came over to Samoa in July 2011 for my wedding with 50 odd guests. After the wedding at Le Lagoto, Savaii we came back to the main land for a few days before getting home. I booked a group of my friends and my family into this hotel with different results. I have very mixed views about this place.... More

Although I have family in Samoa to stay with I opted for hotel accomodation for 6 out of 8 days. My family did not have air-con or a private bathroom and the stray dogs at night kept us awake. As my husband is Palagi he wasn't used to these things. We had booked to stay at Orator Hotel to attend... More

We had a 4 night stay at Millenia. We stayed in the new wing in one of the pool side rooms which was great as we have teenage kids. The room accommodated the 5 of us comfortably. The air-con was great. Beds were comfy. The cleaning staff were very friendly as were the young men who looked after the premises... More

Overall I liked this hotel, the value for money was good for Apia (half the price of Aggie's!) and I would recommend it as long as you get a 'new' wing room. I was first given a room in the 'old' wing but quickly changed to the 'new' wing - the old wing is very poor with smaller rooms and... More

The hotel was fine to stay at but I think there was some weak points in the hotel that reduced the quality of my stay. The rooms are huge but it feels sort of empty and plain and the walls are thin and you hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms. The bathrooms are fine. The weakest part... More

Really enjoyed our 8 day stay at Millenia, rooms big and airy, with air-con', very comfortable, serviced daily. Breakfast was included and certainly ample for our needs. Restaurant served excellent meals, and it was a short stroll to town to pick up anything else that was needed. We had one organise tour around Apia, and then hired a car for... More

My experience at Hotel Millenia was good overall. The pool is great, nice and big and really clean. The room was very average & not particularly clean. However our friends stayed in the poolside rooms and they were great - new, modern and clean. Breakfast was average but okay. Service was mostly ok, was a little hard to get things... More
