We had 10 days in Samoa - 7 at a beach resort and 3 at Aggie Grey's in Apia. The hotel and staff were very good but we didn't need 3 days in Apia. We stayed in the new wing on the 2nd floor, which was very good except for the road noise at night. We should have chosen one... More

I looked forward to a relaxed luxury experience in this hotel after a lovely relaxed time at a beach resort in Samoa. It didn't turn out that way. While the restaurant staff were thoughtful and provided the plain food I needed after a bout with salmonella and a session in a district hospital the reception, service and organisation were disappointing.... Just spent a week in Apia - staying at Aggie Greys. The staff are absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate to go back there and stay again. Decor was a little dated in the room( they are about to start renovations) but otherwise very clean & tidy. Great place to sit back by the pool and relax - try... More

We have been travelling to Samoa since 1981 and always stay a few days at Aggie's in town before heading off to 'our' village of Safua on Savai'i. The family travelled there in April 2012 and we again stayed in one of the garden fales. To wake in the morning to the sounds of the female staff shuffling around in... More

Spent one night at Aggie Grey's because we were already staying with family but we wanted to go to the fia fia night and have the island dinner buffet so we decided to book the one night. Family room configuration was main room with a double and single bed and a seperate room with two single beds. If we were... More

Aggie Grey's Lagoon, Beach Resort & Spa in Apia, Western Samoa, has the ideal combination of old-world charm and modern conveniences. This wonderful resort has very nice individual bungalows in a flora-rich setting that makes it seem as if you are in the heart of the rain forest. The restaurant and food are first-class, the pool area is spacious and... More

In Samoa with one of my good friends for a total of 9 nights. Spent the first 3 nights at the Le Lagoto on Savaii – had a wonderful stay and was looking forward to experiencing Upolu. Decided to stay at Aggies for two nights including New Years, due to the location in the heart of Apia and also Aggies... More

Stayed at Aggie's for five nights using the hotel as a base to sightsee Upolo. Good central location close to rental car dealers, restaurants and shopping. We visited in January - cheap flights but oh so hot and humid - air con in rooms (we took an "Hibiscus" room) but not in lobby, restaurant or cafe. Clean and tidy with... More

We only stayed here for one night at the end of our holiday after travelling around the island. The room was OK, rather dated 'tropical' decor but it was clean. Restaurant was pleasant overlooking the pool and the food was reasonable value, although only average quality. Staff were all friendly and helpful. One negative is that the hotel is inundated...
