We were having a terrible time. Bags lost for 4 days between salta and esquel last place in bariloche noisy and we had had only 6 hours sleep in last 48! We were advised by tourist office to givethe lodge a try and thank goodness we did. They helped us in every possible way and despite my being dressed for... More

We stayed only one night stopping over on the way from Chile to Argentina, but found the hotel a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Being a golf lodge the whole place looks and feels rather conservative and during our stay was frequented mainly by older, wealthy-looking Americans which was not necessarily our cup of tea. The... We were picked up by the hotel at the ferry dock after taking the lakes crossing from Puerto Veras, Chile. The lodge and the surrounding grounds are stunning as is the view to the lake and mountains. We were shown to the main sitting room where we watched the sunset and were served drinks while our luggage was attended to.... More

Their website says it all and more: a lodge in the countryside, on a lake, perfect for hiking and the outdoors, activities included...if it were only all true. It is a lodge in the countryside but you are surrounded by a housing development of which the lodge is a part, there is a lake, but you have to cross the... More

We just returned from a terrific five days at the small Arelauquen Lodge. The weather was perfect, sunny and 70, over Easter break. There were endless activities right from the lodge for us and our two children, ages 11 and 12. Hiking the adjacent National Park, mountain biking, fishing, tennis and golf. A little too cool for boating. Our two... More

Struggled with Llao Llao or Arelauquen when looking for a hotel in Bariloche. What a wonderful find. A small lodge with beautiful views and a cosy feel. Restaurant Cassis nearby was outstanding. 10mins from the town so renting a car is important and allows one to explore the area and eat wonderful food in town. Went to Llao Llao to... More

Nice resort hotel 15 minutes drive from Bariloche. Set in its own estate with beautiful view of the lake, golf course and polo field. We found the staff very hospitable though don't expect everyone to be confident in English. We discovered that the package we were on included a lovely massage, a meal in the excellent restaurant and an activity.... More

This was our first stop planned in a trip to Argentina and Brazil with our two offspring Tom 22 and Emma 21. We arrived at the hotel a day late due to our British Airways flight from UK going technical, but straight way were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Our first evening was spent in the town of Bariloche... More
