Just a one night stay here but it was an excellent choice. Room and bathroom were on the small side but had all that you needed. Cool, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but adequate and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The house itself was interesting and charming. Good location - easy to walk into main square, shops... More

We stayed at the Posada de las Nubes in August 2012. The hotel is clean and in good repair, and friendly helpful staff, but fairly basic beyond that, although the old restored colonial house gives it charm and color. The location is excellent--in easy walking distance of central Salta and in a good area with plaza, shops and many restaurants.... More

Most warm, friendly and helpful family/staff you could think of in an old, say colonial style house with a cool court yard (if you need that on hot moments:) Don't forget the wines and steak on the restaurant on the corner, one block away (ask your host). Have fun with la tren a las nubes: a wonderful experience and the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. The service was amazing. Always willing to help and very accommodating. We had a few changes in out itinerary and they were very willing to work with any changes. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a good location. Highly recommended.

I hesitate to give this place an average review because it's location on Balcarce street (the street with the majority of the peñas) is fantastic. I also tend not to stay in b&b type of places so all I can provide are my impressions of the place and I don't want to be unfair given the relative low price of... More

I found this Posada through trip advisor and was very happy with this family-run posada. The rooms were comfortable and well kept and the family who runs and at the time lived there, was very friendly and went beyond the necessary to try and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Location is great, which is always a bonus!

I needed to come through Salta, so I paid another visit to Posada de las Nubes. Everything I loved about it is still here-- quiet friendly comfortable. Beautifully kept and relaxed. Family atmosphere. So nice to return.

Posada Las Nubes is located in the central part of Salta. It is a B&B in a beautiful old home. The rooms have very high ceilings and open onto a central courtyard. They are quiet and peaceful despite the central location of the Hotel. The Hotel is very well managed and all the employees are exceedingly helpful and friendly. We... More

We stayed for a night on our way back through Salta. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and nicely decorated and opened out onto a pretty internal courtyard.
