...but I cannot recommend any. Although the location of this place is fine, only a 10 minute walk from the main drag, our stay was marred by being assigned a below standard room with only a tiny double bed. And plenty of mossies to annoy us all night. But that would have been only an annoyance if we had not... More

I stayed several times in La Quinta during my trips to Tilcara and would highlight several observations that make this place uniquely beautiful: 1) The house is absolutely beautiful, special, and makes you feel that you are indeed in another region of the world, far away from typical US hotels "a la Hilton"; every single detail has been restored in... This place was a real highlight of our trip. Basically, this place is awesome, almost ludicrously good value for money and a real find. You can't tell from the photos just how nice (and special) this place is. Totally charming, thick-walled, beautifully restored very old buildings, where every detail has been thought through impeccably by the architect owners. Every nook... More

We got a recommendation from our hotel in Salta for this place and it did not disappoint at all. It is a small posada and you feel like your staying in someone's house. The room was tiny but comfortable and it wasa relief not to hear doors slam. Finally some peace and quiet. You can walk easily to all the... More

After having a reservation confirmed directly by the hotel over email, we arrived at 7:30pm to find only the night-warden present who told us the hotel was full, and that - despite the fact we had an email confirming our reservation - we couldn't stay. Luckily I speak a bit of Spanish, so after a long conversation (during which we... More

This place a real gem, everything we'd hoped for from the pics and reviews on Trip Advisor. The location was perfect. We were the only guests there for our stay, so it felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Upon arriving we were shown to our room, no.1, t the front of the property. Although everything about the... More

The hotel has just a few rooms which are attached to the family house, set in a beautiful garden, set away from the world behind a dry stone wall. The owner is a very friendly accommodating woman who made us feel like family friends. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was good. At 220 pesos a night (normally a... More

Short walk from town square, parking available, six holiday units around a delightful garden of old quinta with apricot tree laden with fruit and deckchairs below. Rooms smal, but very tastefully decorated with folkloric and antique details. super breakfast served by very lovely and descreet lady. A place to stay for more than a couple of days. More

Renting our two rooms via the internet was easy and the owner very friendly. The pictures don't speak for themselves. The place is even more beautiful than they show. The yard was like a English garden with lush vegetation. The person in charge offered us mate on the patio while the children explored the multiple garden beauties. Our rooms were... More
